Overview

As Associate Director in our Data Centre team, you will lead large-scale ground-up data centre projects across Europe, from inception to commissioning. You’ll shape project objectives, governance, and delivery, guiding cross-functional teams for top-tier clients. You’ll drive performance through KPIs, risk and change control, and proactive client interfacing. This role offers impact in a growth-focused firm with an entrepreneurial culture and a focus on delivering client outcomes at scale.

Responsibilities
  • Advise at strategic project conception to align with client objectives
  • Set success criteria covering time, cost, technical and performance targets
  • Plan and manage quality, safety, health and environment measures
  • Establish project governance, processes and systems
  • Produce detailed project plans and manage procurement of resources
  • Lead cross-functional project team facilitation
  • Monitor performance using KPIs and drive improvements
  • Oversee change control, finances, and information flow to the client
  • Generate formal progress reports and maintain client/consultant interfaces
  • Interface with client and other consultants at all project stages
Key requirements
  • Construction consultancy experience (preferred)
  • Professionally qualified in construction, project management, engineering or architecture
  • Chartered status or on path to achieving it
  • Strong understanding of full project life cycle from conception to post-project review
  • Excellent knowledge of main project management concepts, tools and techniques
  • Design, management or construction experience in general construction (residential, office, fit-outs, health & education)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
