Overview

In this Director role, you lead the design and delivery of scalable Google Cloud solutions across industries, guiding clients from strategy to implementation. You’ll mentor teams, engage with executives, and drive adoption of Gemini Enterprise and related Google Cloud technologies to transform client operations. You’ll partner with Deloitte, clients, and Google Cloud to ensure secure, cost-efficient architectures. Responsibilities
  • Lead architectural design and implementation of Google Cloud solutions across client environments
  • Translate business requirements into technical designs and blueprints aligned with objectives
  • Provide technical leadership to project teams from inception to completion
  • Drive adoption of advanced Google Cloud technologies (e.g., Gemini Enterprise) to boost client capabilities
  • Collaborate with clients, Deloitte teams, and Google Cloud representatives for seamless integration
  • Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders as a trusted Google Cloud advisor
  • Contribute to improving Deloittes Google Cloud capabilities, methodologies, and IP
  • Mentor and develop junior architects and engineers to foster technical excellence
  • Stay updated on Google Cloud developments and industry trends to maintain leadership in cloud innovation

Key requirements
  • Extensive cloud architecture experience with a focus on Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
  • Proven track record delivering large-scale Google Cloud projects across domains
  • Experience in technical pre-sales including bid documentation, RFIs/RFPs, and presentations
  • Strong IT infrastructure fundamentals (compute, storage, networking, management)
  • Understanding of cloud managed services and supportable designs
  • Deep expertise in GCP services (Compute Engine, GKE, Cloud SQL, BigQuery, Dataflow, Cloud Storage, VPC, IAM, Cloud Functions, Cloud Run, Apigee)
  • Experience with AI/ML services on Google Cloud and Gemini Enterprise
  • Strong cloud security and compliance knowledge
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with technical/non-technical audiences
