Associate Director (Quantum)

In this role, you will lead and support quantum-related expert witness work within a renowned disputes practice. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyse quantum claims on major projects in international and domestic arbitration, while helping to develop the quantum team and the firm. The position offers a development path toward leadership and expert witness recognition, within a collaborative, client‑facing environment. You will contribute to business growth and mentor colleagues, shaping how the firm delivers high-value dispute resolution services.

• Undertaking expert witness work as the named expert or assisting other named experts in arbitration
• Forensic quantum analysis of claims and contentious issues on major projects
• Collaborating in teams to advise high-profile clients on large, complex disputes

• Degree qualified; additional construction law qualifications/affiliations desirable
• MRICS or MCIArb qualification desirable
• Experience as supporting or named expert witness, or aspiration to be an expert
• 2+ years of experience as a quantum dispute consultant
• 5+ years of construction-related industry/site experience desirable
• Strong knowledge of quantity surveying and construction cost management
• Broad experience across diverse construction/engineering projects
• Excellent written communication and presentation skills
