As Associate Director in KPMG’s Deal Execution, you’ll lead technology-driven M&A engagements and act as a trusted adviser to senior executives. You’ll shape complex ERP-enabled transactions and drive the design, scoping, and delivery of integration or separation programs. The role sits within a high-growth, global tech-enabled deal team that collaborates across KPMG’s capabilities to deliver investor-grade outcomes. You’ll build client relationships, develop your sector expertise, and lead thought leadership and development of the Strategy Group. This opportunity suits someone who wants to influence major transactions through ERP insights and cross-functional leadership.
Responsibilities- Build deep client relationships and become a trusted advisor to senior executives
- Assist in identifying, pursuing, and converting business development opportunities
- Develop expertise in selected proposition(s) and sector
- Lead design of complex engagements and oversee day-to-day delivery
- Scoping and fee negotiation on standard engagements
- Proactively develop thought leadership
- Build and maintain internal and external networks
- Understand risk and ensure adherence to risk management frameworks
- Inspire, coach and develop project teams and provide feedback
- Identify, design and lead complex practice development initiatives coordinating team members
- Experience with SAP ERP products
- SAP integration in post-merger scenarios or SAP carve-outs in divestitures (preferred)
- Track record leading complex ERP projects with multi-disciplinary teams
- Understanding of ERP modules (Procurement, Material Management, Inventory, Manufacturing, Warehouse, Finance and Controlling)
- Experience leading/handling data migration projects (preferred)
- Ability to engage senior stakeholders and talk credibly with C-level clients
- Experience in acquisitions, divestitures, carve-outs and ERP implementation focus
- Understanding of deal lifecycle and IT’s role from due diligence to transitional services
- Willingness to expand ERP capabilities across the team
