Associate Director - Technical Product Consultant (SQL / .Net)

Overview

In this role you lead end-to-end implementations of commercial lending software, coordinating across cross-functional teams to ensure client success. You apply AI concepts to streamline workflows and manage risk, delivering high-quality service from London across Europe and Africa. You translate business needs into effective configurations and provide trusted guidance to clients and partners. This is an opportunity to shape lending technology solutions and drive measurable client impact.

Responsibilities
  • Lead and deliver end-to-end implementation projects for commercial lending software solutions
  • Oversee software installation, configuration, data mapping, testing and client training
  • Conduct gap analysis, gather business requirements via client workshops
  • Advise clients on optimal product design and configuration for lending processes
  • Manage project timelines, deliverables, resources, hours and risks with tracking tools
  • Collaborate with Product Management on enhancements, defects and product improvements
  • Support partners in delivery under the Partner Delivery Framework, including effort estimation and technical guidance
  • Deliver SaaS Premium Services through configuration support, integration guidance and minor enhancements
  • Provide enhanced error support by managing priority incidents in a follow-the-sun model (occasional weekend support)
Key requirements
  • 8+ years of financial software implementations experience in banks, software vendors, consulting firms, or system integrators
  • Strong functional understanding of financial instruments in banking or insurance
  • Proficiency in Oracle PL/SQL, SQL and .NET with hands-on technical capability
  • Experience with C# and R; exposure to IIS, Web API and MVC desirable
  • Ability to elicit and translate business requirements through client workshops and gap analyses
  • Strong customer engagement skills with ability to build relationships and provide consultative recommendations
  • Excellent collaboration skills across Delivery, Product Management and Technology teams
  • Proficiency in AI concepts with hands-on experience using AI tools to streamline workflows and enhance efficiency; track record of AI-powered solutions and awareness of AI risk management and ethical AI use
