Associate Director - Technology Integration

A leading UK professional services network is looking to hire at Associate Director level into its Deal Execution practice, based in London, with a specialisation in technology, digital, AI and M&A. This is a senior hire within a fast-growing, high-performing team that has witnessed unprecedented activity in recent years, and is on track to double in size again over the next three years. The team is part of a diverse global network, working collaboratively to orchestrate the firm's broad set of capabilities within its Deal Advisory business, offering a fast-track career growth opportunity with genuine scope for progression.

The Role

You will build deep client relationships, acting as the trusted "go-to" advisor for senior executives, whilst leading the design and delivery of complex engagements from scoping through to execution.

Working closely with Partners and Directors, you will lead teams across acquisitions, divestitures, carve-outs and other transactions, with a particular focus on ERP implementation, separation and SAP integration. You will act as a primary point of contact for clients, building and commercialising senior relationships, whilst overseeing scoping, fee negotiation, risk management, and the coaching and development of junior team members.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design and day-to-day delivery of complex ERP-focused M&A engagements, including SAP integration and carve-out projects.
• Support the identification, pursuit and conversion of a pipeline of business development opportunities.
• Advise clients on acquisitions, divestitures, carve-outs and other transactions, with a focus on ERP implementation, separation and integration.
• Undertake scoping and fee negotiation on standard engagements.
• Proactively develop thought leadership and build a strong internal and external network.
• Inspire, motivate, coach and develop project team members, providing constructive 360-degree feedback.

Candidate Profile

• Experience working with SAP ERP products, ideally including SAP integration in a post-merger scenario or SAP carve-out experience within a divestiture.
• Track record of leading complex ERP projects with multi-disciplinary teams, in a consulting, corporate or public sector environment.
• Understanding of general business processes and ERP modules, such as Procurement, Materials Management, Inventory Management, Manufacturing, Warehouse Management, and Finance and Controlling.
• Strong understanding of the deal lifecycle and the role of IT within it, from due diligence through to concluding transitional service agreements.
