As Electrical Associate Director in the Data Centres Market Sector, you drive technical excellence and leadership across electrical design for hyperscale and mission-critical projects. You mentor multi-disciplinary teams, shape strategy, and win work while delivering resilient, low-carbon power systems. - Oversee electrical design across feasibility to handover including procurement and commissioning
- Define and validate power architectures (utility intake, MV/LV, UPS, generators, switchgear, busways, earthing, lighting)
- Lead power systems studies and protection design (load flow, short circuit, protection coordination, arc-flash, harmonics) using ETAP/SKM
- Integrate monitoring/controls (BMS/EPMS/SCADA), metering, and resilience features
- Embed decarbonization and energy efficiency (high-efficiency UPS, controls, heat recovery, on-site renewables)
- Ensure compliance with IEC/BS/EN and NEC/NFPA and client specs
- Coordinate multi-disciplinary interfaces to deliver integrated designs
- Hyperscale and/or multi-site program experience
- Strong background delivering Electrical project work for Data Centres and Mission Critical Environments
- Proven DC project leadership in UK and preferably across EMEA
- Demonstrated client-facing and work-winning experience
- Excellent team leadership and development capability
- Knowledge of Mechanical design interfaces for Data Centres
- Strong commercial acumen and project financial management experience
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
