Associate Equity Investment Analyst

Apply fundamental research and financial modeling skills as an Associate Investment Analyst at Vancity’s Vancouver head office, with hybrid work.

VCIM seeks an Associate Investment Analyst for its integrated investment management team. Reporting to the Associate Portfolio Manager, you will support equity mandates through research, recommendations, monitoring, and investment tools. The permanent, full-time position follows VCIM’s Responsible Investment approach and requires onsite work two to three days weekly.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct fundamental research across Canadian equity opportunities
• Provide investment recommendations supporting performance and risk management
• Monitor assets against investment policies and strategy objectives
• Discuss potential and current investments with the Equities team
• Facilitate tools for portfolio construction and investment research

Requirements:

• One to three years in public equities or related roles
• Passion for investing and Responsible Investing
• Strong writing, presentation, and communication skills
• Financial modeling proficiency and accounting understanding
• CFA designation progress or completion is an asset
