Associate Litigation Attorney (2-5 Plus Years Experience)

We represent a sophisticated and loyal client base across California and internationally, handling complex civil litigation, insurance defense and insurance coverage matters at the highest level.
We are seeking a motivated, detail-oriented Associate Attorney with 2 to 5 or more years of litigation experience, ideally in insurance defense, to join our growing litigation team. This position is best suited for a mid-level attorney who can step into an active caseload, exercise sound judgment, and take ownership of assignments while continuing to sharpen trial skills through collaboration and mentorship from seasoned litigators.
From day one, associates are treated as true members of the litigation team. You will be actively involved in all phases of litigation, from pre-suit evaluation and strategy through discovery, law and motion, depositions, trial preparation, and court appearances, with increasing responsibility and autonomy based on performance and initiative.
Professional liability (insurance brokers, real estate brokers, architects, engineers and legal malpractice)
Trucking and cargo claims
Catastrophic Personal Injury and Premises Liability
Entertainment law and media disputes
Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, motions, discovery, and memoranda
Appear in court for law and motion hearings and case management conferences
Analyze cases and assist in developing litigation strategy
Work directly with partners and senior attorneys on complex matters
Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills
Direct mentorship and hands-on litigation experience with experienced trial attorneys
Exposure to complex, high-value cases and sophisticated legal issues
