Associate Machine Learning Data Scientist

Apply Python, SQL, and machine learning to transform raw information into actionable strategies at AlgaeCal. Remote work is acceptable, with a Yaletown office also available.

As an Associate Data Scientist, you will build predictive models, optimize AI applications, and refine data architectures. Your work will translate analysis into business decisions, supporting efficiency, sales, profitability, and growth. Experience with statistical modeling and large datasets is central.

Key Responsibilities:

• Build and refine machine learning models using Python or R
• Translate data analysis into actionable business insights
• Optimize AI applications and predictive models for measurable results
• Design, maintain, and optimize scalable data warehouses
• Standardize data models, schemas, and architectures for usability

Requirements:

• Experience as a Data Scientist or similar professional
• Strong Python or R coding skills
• Expertise with SQL and relational databases
• Understanding of regression, clustering, and neural networks
• Hands-on BigQuery or similar data warehouse experience
