Associate Naval Hardware Engineer

Design naval combat system modifications at CFB Halifax, using hardware engineering skills across complex systems and electrical components.

As a Hardware Engineer Associate, you will support the Halifax Class Combat System Integration In-Service Support Program. The work spans research, design, development, testing, deployment, maintenance, and field troubleshooting. You will contribute within a multidisciplinary team supporting naval combat systems, land-based test sites, and training facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Research and design COTS or custom computing hardware
• Develop installation designs for components and assemblies
• Support testing of hardware and electrical components
• Prepare project documentation for customer and company requirements
• Analyze test reports and evaluate vendors

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in a related engineering field
• Zero to two years of relevant professional experience
• Experience working within a multidisciplinary team environment
• Effective technical and non-technical communication skills
• Initiative, autonomy, adaptability, and strong learning ability
