Associate Portfolio Manager Toronto

Support customized investment strategies at RBC Phillips, Hager & North Investment Counsel in Toronto, using portfolio management and Excel expertise. Work full time with experienced investment counsellors.

As an Associate Portfolio Manager, you will support portfolios for high-net-worth individuals, trusts, and charitable foundations. You will help construct strategies, models, proposals, and action plans. The position focuses on implementing strategies, monitoring portfolios, and supporting client relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support investment counsellors in managing client portfolios
• Construct customized strategies, models, proposals, and action plans
• Implement plans and proactively manage portfolios
• Monitor and rebalance portfolios under investment policies
• Prepare client meetings and review portfolio issues

Requirements:

• Chartered Financial Analyst charter designation
• Undergraduate degree in business, finance, or economics preferred
• Strong Microsoft 365 and Excel working knowledge
• Graduate degree in business or finance preferred
• Financial planner diploma preferred
