Associate Relationship Manager - Mid Market

In this role you will support a growth-focused Mid-Market portfolio, working with a Relationship Director to deliver tailored banking solutions. You’ll help deepen multi-product client relationships, manage onboarding and risk, and contribute to strategic growth in a fast-paced, customer-first environment. The position sits within the Mid-Market team as part of Business and Commercial Banking, with hybrid working across Southampton/Andover. This is a hands-on, impact-driven opportunity to help clients prosper while shaping new-to-bank partnerships.

• Engage with clients in meetings (virtual or in-person), prepare agendas, note actions, and relay sector insights and product updates
• Support the lending journey and identify opportunities to deliver solutions for high-value clients
• Assist with risk and credit analysis, support credit reviews, and onboarding processes
• Prepare proposals and tender submissions for credit and facility changes
• Manage diary and inbox, prioritise tasks and contribute to process improvements for clients and colleagues
• Collaborate with internal teams and product partners to deliver tailored solutions and stay informed on sector developments

• Minimum 2+ years’ experience in a customer-facing role within Corporate or Commercial banking
• Experience supporting lending and credit activity, including analysing financial information and contributing to credit proposals or reviews
• Strong organisational and time management skills
• Confidence in building and maintaining relationships
• Clear written and verbal communication skills
• A proactive mindset and willingness to learn
• Awareness of risk and how to manage it effectively
