Overview
In this role you will design, develop, and debug software within R&D standards to support data-driven solutions. You’ll work with cross-functional teammates to translate design into operational systems, enhancing data processing and product tooling. You will ensure quality through testing and documentation, while upholding security practices. Responsibilities- Design and develop high-quality, scalable software within timelines and best practices.
- Collaborate with managers, developers, UI/visual designers, and product managers to meet functional requirements.
- Participate in scoping, scheduling, and progress tracking; flag blockers to stakeholders.
- Contribute to testing and reviews; adjust test plans as needed for code changes.
- Maintain end-to-end ownership of code lifecycle, including internal and external support.
- Produce design and technical documentation for internal and external audiences.
- Adhere to security policies to support secure software development goals.
- Some software development experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Interest in technology and coding with demonstrable programming experience
- Self-starter with initiative and self-management abilities
- Willingness to work across disciplines (development, services, analytics)
- Good interpersonal, documentation, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team
- Proof of Right to work in the UK
- Equivalent combination of education, training, and experience may be considered
