Associate Vice President Java Developer

Lead Java and Spring Boot development as an Associate Vice President managing Applications Development professionals and technical delivery. Work full time within Citi’s Technology organization.

This Associate Vice President role requires five to eight years of relevant experience and demonstrated leadership. You will oversee technical issue escalation, guide mid-level developers and analysts, and support software development projects. The position emphasizes object-oriented design, dependency management, continuous integration testing, change management, and audit requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage Applications Development professionals and conduct personnel duties
• Advise or coach mid-level developers and analysts
• Prioritize technical issue escalation and resolution
• Provide technical oversight across systems and applications
• Contribute to planning, budgets, procedures, and resource planning

Requirements:

• Five to eight years of relevant experience
• Strong Java and Spring Boot development skills
• Experience managing and implementing successful projects
• Knowledge of caching and messaging solutions
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
