Overview

As Atlassian Consultant, you design and govern enterprise Atlassian platforms (Cloud) to enable Agile delivery, DevOps, ITSM, and cross‑functional collaboration. You provide architectural leadership across Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket and related tools, guiding cloud migrations and platform modernization. You’ll support pre‑sales with pragmatic, scalable solutions and strong governance. You work with cross‑functional teams to shape secure, cost‑efficient, high‑performing Atlassian ecosystems.

Responsibilities
  • Design and lead end‑to‑end Atlassian Cloud platform architectures, ensuring scalability and integration with enterprise ecosystems.
  • Translate business and technology needs into platform designs and technical specs; drive cloud transformations and migrations from Data Centre/Server to Cloud.
  • Act as primary technical contact for project activities and blockers; define architecture, risks, and mitigations.
  • Establish governance, best practices, security measures, and configuration guidelines; mentor team members.
  • Define and enforce guardrails for Marketplace apps, licensing, and lifecycle; ensure compliance with security/audit requirements.
  • Lead Atlassian Guard implementations (SSO, MFA, centralized provisioning) and stakeholder workshops.
  • Oversee delivery squads, ensure QA of configurations and integrations; contribute to pre‑sales, roadmaps, and platform assessments.
Key requirements
  • Deep Atlassian Cloud/Data Center architecture experience
  • Expert knowledge of Jira Software, JSM, Confluence, Bitbucket, Atlassian Analytics, Advanced Roadmaps, Assets/CMDB, Automation
  • Experience with REST API integrations, event‑driven automation, and CI/CD toolchains
  • Strong consulting, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills
  • A track record in pre‑sales and large‑scale enterprise solutions
  • Experience with regulated industries is a bonus
