Overview

In this role you will architect and govern enterprise‑scale Atlassian platforms (primarily Cloud) to enable Agile delivery, DevOps, ITSM, and cross‑functional collaboration. You will partner with business, product, and operations teams to design scalable, secure solutions and guide cloud transformation and pre‑sales activities. You’ll lead platform architecture, governance, integrations, and advisory efforts to drive cost‑effective adoption and performance. This is a hands‑on leadership role that shapes customer solutions and sales strategy in a large enterprise context.

Responsibilities
  • Design end‑to‑end Atlassian Cloud architectures ensuring scalability, resilience, and enterprise integration
  • Lead migrations from Data Centre/Server to Cloud and develop migration strategies and roadmaps
  • Define governance, security, and configuration best practices for Atlassian tools
  • Architect integrations via REST APIs and automation across DevOps tooling and identity providers
  • Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and act as primary technical contact for projects
  • Oversee Atlassian implementation squads and ensure quality in configurations, integrations, and customisations
  • Contribute to proposals, pre‑sales efforts, and platform assessments
  • Drive security posture through Atlassian Guard implementations (SSO, MFA, central provisioning)
  • Lead workshops with stakeholders and coach cross‑functional teams
Key requirements
  • Deep architecture experience with Atlassian Cloud and/or Data Center
  • Expert knowledge of Jira Software, JSM, Confluence, Bitbucket, Atlassian Analytics, Advanced Roadmaps, Assets/CMDB, Automation
  • Experience with ScriptRunner, Forge, Connect apps, and marketplace apps (Xray, BigPicture, Insight/Assets, Tempo)
  • Strong integration skills with REST APIs and event‑based automation
  • Experience with CI/CD, DevOps toolchains, and SDLC practices
  • Strong consulting, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to operate in pre‑sales environments and contribute to deal shaping
  • Strong consulting, facilitation, and communication skills
  • Ability to lead multi‑disciplinary delivery teams
  • Excellent stakeholder management including senior leadership
