Automated Test Engineering Intern

Build Python and web UI automation expertise as a Trimble intern in Richmond Hill, Ontario, working full-time in-office for 16 months.

As an Automated Test Engineering Intern, you will own a scalable web automation framework from concept through deployment. You will connect frontend testing with real-time navigation simulation platforms while gaining software engineering experience across Trimble’s product ecosystem. The work supports software quality and system reliability through automated testing.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design scalable automated web UI testing frameworks
• Integrate UI test suites into continuous integration pipelines
• Maintain real-time navigation simulation scenarios
• Execute end-to-end tests across interfaces and simulation layers
• Report detailed technical feedback on performance

Requirements:

• Enrollment in a relevant undergraduate or graduate technical program
• Availability for a full-time 16-month placement starting May 2027
• Placement availability in Richmond Hill, Ontario
• Programming capability in Python, JavaScript, TypeScript, or Java
• Experience with web UI automation tools and Git
