In this hybrid Automation QA Engineer role, you will design and maintain automated tests to ensure the platform’s quality and reliability. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to apply the right testing methods and expand automation coverage across the testing process. You will perform regression testing, diagnose test failures with developers, and help maintain data, environments, and harnesses. This role offers impact through improving testing practices and staying aligned with evolving QA techniques.
Responsibilities- Design, develop and maintain automated test scripts using modern tools and frameworks
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to apply appropriate testing methodologies
- Identify opportunities to enhance automation and improve coverage
- Conduct thorough regression testing during feature rollouts
- Perform root cause analysis for test failures and coordinate with developers
- Create and maintain test data, environments and harnesses for automation
- Monitor and report test results to stakeholders
- Contribute to improving testing processes and practices across the team
- Keep up to date with QA tools and best practices and share insights
- Strong proficiency in C#
- Experience in automation testing (functional and data validation)
- Ability to translate business requirements into test cases
- Experience with APIs, databases, and Git
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
