Automation Test Engineer – Selenium Java Python- Wimbledon

In this role you will architect and extend automated testing for a fintech wealth-management platform. You’ll collaborate with the Development Manager to design the overall testing strategy and elevate the quality of automation across the codebase. You’ll mentor peers, support production issue triage, and drive continuous deployment and delivery. This is a hands-on role with impact on reliability and release velocity in a fast-paced, modern AWS-based environment.

• Create and maintain automated end-to-end test scripts in Python
• Enhance and extend the existing test automation framework
• Collaborate with development and business peers to design automated tests
• Actively participate in Agile rituals (Standups, Planning, Retros)
• Conduct code reviews and mentor junior engineers
• Proactively support production issues and CD/CI activities

• Comp Sci or Tech Degree
• REST API
• Extensive experience in automated test development with open-source tools
• Selenium WebDriver with Python or Java (coding ability)
• Experience building test automation frameworks from scratch (Pytest, TestNG, JUnit)
• Automated test scripts for RESTful APIs
• Strong CS fundamentals and OO principles
• Experience with Git/GitHub or Bitbucket
• CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins, Harness
• Knowledge of Selenium Grid (desirable)
• Experience with Jira for defect tracking/test management
