Overview

In this role you will design, develop and deliver automated test solutions for client projects, contributing to Quality Engineering and best practices. You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams, often with minimal supervision, to verify Usability, Functionality, Performance and Scalability. You will help build automation frameworks and drive testing initiatives while remaining adaptable to client needs and travel to London as required. Responsibilities
  • Oversee development, implementation, and maintenance of automated test scripts
  • Verify usability, functionality, performance, and scalability of applications
  • Expand automation frameworks to meet team needs
  • Initiate automation and performance monitoring processes
  • Contribute to establishing Automation and Testing best practices
  • Collaborate with multiple teams to address automation challenges and resolve performance failures
Key requirements
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting abilities
  • Deep understanding of QA processes and software development lifecycle
  • Hands-on experience with front-end testing frameworks like Cypress or Playwright
  • Experience building test automation frameworks from scratch
  • JavaScript and TypeScript proficiency (3+ years)
  • Experience testing web apps across browsers and mobile
  • API testing experience (RestAssured or SoapUI)
  • Experience with testing tools, environments, and data across testing stages
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams to design and enhance automation frameworks
  • Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes for testing microservices
  • Experience using Jira, Confluence or similar for test management in Agile/Scrum
  • Knowledge of CI/CD (Jenkins, GitLab CI) for automated testing and deployment
  • Understanding of microservices testing and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure)
