Automotive Dealership Controller

Lead dealership accounting and financial reporting as an Automotive Controller with AutoCanada in a hybrid Halifax or Moncton position. Advanced Excel expertise is essential.

This full-time Controller role provides financial leadership across dealership operations. You will manage budgeting, forecasting, reconciliations, reporting, compliance, and expense control while partnering with dealership and Home Office leadership. The position also includes coaching accounting team members and supporting strategic decisions that improve profitability and operational performance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead dealership accounting and financial reporting functions
• Manage budgeting, forecasting, planning, and expense control
• Reconcile accounts accurately and on schedule
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
• Coach and develop accounting team members

Requirements:

• Two to five years of progressive accounting experience
• Previous automotive dealership accounting experience
• Leadership experience managing an accounting team
• Strong dealership accounting and reconciliation knowledge
• Advanced Microsoft Excel and Office proficiency
