Overview
In this role you will design and oversee cloud architectures for high-profile financial institutions, focusing on AWS-based solutions and hybrid cloud governance. You will interact with clients, lead pre-sales activities, and guide onboarding to BAU while working with a global team. You’ll contribute hands-on architectural work and participate in demos, RFI/RFP responses, and client/vendor engagements. The position offers training, clear progression, and a substantial bonus potential in a London-based fintech environment.

- Oversee cloud provisioning for private and public cloud environments
- Input into RFI/RFP responses and support proposals
- Conduct architecture reviews with internal teams, clients, and vendors
- Daily operations oversight and new client onboarding
- Lead and collaborate with teams as required
- Hands-on architectural design when needed
- Run demos and presentations for clients
- Manage client interactions throughout onboarding to BAU
- Gather requirements and produce documentation for solutions
- AWS Professional level or equivalent certification
- ISO or SSAE18 security & business continuity knowledge/experience
- Strong technical architecture experience with modern cloud/app paradigms
- Vendor management experience
- Knowledge of hosting regulatory considerations (ASD, GDPR, MAS, HKMA)
- Knowledge of Jenkins and virtualization technologies
- Project management experience
- Exposure to Data Management software implementations
- Understanding of Linux and Solaris
- Understanding of Oracle database administration and performance
