AWS Cloud Architect, Technology Consulting

As a Cloud Architect at Credera, you will design scalable, secure cloud solutions and guide public sector and regulated clients through digital transformation. You’ll combine hands-on architecture with leadership, shaping platform engineering and DevOps practices while remaining delivery-focused. You’ll advise clients, lead small teams or workstreams, and ensure secure, cost-effective cloud delivery. This role offers exposure to AWS-centric architectures, modern tooling, and a mission-driven culture within a flexible hybrid setup.

• Design scalable, secure, and resilient cloud solutions for clients
• Lead small teams or workstreams and provide architectural guidance to delivery teams
• Support cloud migration and modernization initiatives
• Define target architectures, platform capabilities, and technical roadmaps aligned to business objectives
• Implement platform engineering, Infrastructure as Code, and modern DevOps practices
• Establish cloud security, governance, and resilience controls in enterprise environments
• Build strong relationships with client stakeholders and balance scope, cost, and quality

• 5+ years of cloud architecture, engineering and transformation delivery
• AWS cloud architecture certification (Associate or Professional)
• Strong AWS expertise and cloud-native architecture experience
• Experience designing cloud architectures and supporting migrations/modernisation
• Ability to define target architectures, roadmaps and capabilities
• Knowledge of IaC, platform engineering, and DevOps practices
• Experience implementing security, governance and resilience controls
• Experience leading small teams or workstreams and delivering to time/cost/quality
• Stakeholder relationship skills and architectural guidance to delivery teams
• Problem-solving skills and risk assessment with pragmatic solutions
• Understanding of cloud financial management and cost-effective delivery
• Experience in client-facing consulting and mentoring engineers
• Active SC clearance (required)
