AWS cloud development leads scalable application design with Python, Node.js, and serverless architecture in a hybrid Toronto role. BMO offers this technology position at 33 Dundas Street West.

As Development Lead AWS, you will design, develop, test, debug, and maintain cloud applications. You will build RESTful APIs and microservices, migrate applications, and support cloud business processes. The work includes AWS services, continuous integration, cloud security, and technical requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop scalable server-side components using Python or Node.js
  • Design and implement RESTful APIs and microservices
  • Write efficient code following testing and documentation practices
  • Optimize applications for speed and scalability
  • Troubleshoot applications and participate in code reviews

Requirements:

  • Computer Science degree
  • Seven to ten years of AWS cloud development experience
  • Strong AWS serverless architecture experience
  • Proficiency in Python or Node.js ecosystems
  • Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
