AWS Cloud Security Engineer

AWS security expertise drives this Cloud Security Engineer role at Momentum Financial Services Group, with a hybrid work environment supporting secure cloud operations.

You will secure AWS infrastructure, applications, and workloads while integrating security into DevOps and engineering workflows. The position focuses on AWS architectures, IAM, encryption, monitoring, and compliance. You will also automate controls and support cloud security practices across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design AWS security architectures aligned with compliance and industry practices
• Manage IAM, Organizations, and Control Tower access controls
• Deploy AWS-native detection, protection, and vulnerability services
• Integrate logging and monitoring with SIEM platforms
• Automate security using Terraform, CloudFormation, and scripting

Requirements:

• 10+ years of IT or security experience
• 4+ years focused on AWS cloud security
• Knowledge of GuardDuty, Security Hub, Macie, Inspector, WAF, and Shield
• Proficiency with KMS, CloudHSM, ACM, and automation
• AWS Security Specialty or equivalent certification preferred
