AWS Data Engineering Consultant | Knutsford (Hybrid)

AWS Data Engineering Consultant | Knutsford (Hybrid) RED now has a new contract opportunity for an AWS Data Engineering Consultant to join one of our key partners on a strategic Cloud Data Platform & Analytics Programme.

This contract is to start ASAP and will be hybrid, with 2-3 days per week onsite in Knutsford, UK.

Specific skills/experience required:

  • Strong hands‑on experience with AWS data services including S3, Glue, Lambda, Redshift, Athena, EMR and DynamoDB
  • Proven experience designing, implementing and troubleshooting enterprise‑scale data pipelines
  • Strong expertise in ETL/ELT frameworks and data integration solutions
  • Advanced proficiency in Python, SQL, Spark or PySpark
  • Experience reviewing code and resolving issues across distributed data processing environments
  • Experience implementing Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and/or CloudFormation
  • Strong understanding of data modelling, metadata management, data quality and cloud data architectures
  • Experience supporting vector databases and AI‑driven data solutions is highly desirable
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Candidates must be located in the UK.
