AWS Data Pipeline Engineer

Build scalable data pipelines with Python and SQL at CDAI, working hybrid with four days in office. Support modern hospitality technology.

As a Data Engineer, you will support CDAI’s Data Technology team within Compass Group NA. Collaborate with Data Scientists, Analytic Engineers, and stakeholders to deliver reliable data solutions. The work includes AWS, Airflow, Spark, APIs, and modern data platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and maintain scalable ETL and ELT data pipelines
• Build reliable Airflow DAGs for pipeline performance
• Develop data APIs and source integrations
• Support processing with EMR, Iceberg, and Snowflake
• Monitor data quality using tools such as Secoda

Requirements:

• Three to five years in Data Engineering or similar
• Strong Python and SQL programming skills
• Hands-on AWS, Lambda, Airflow, and Spark experience
• Understanding of scalable data architectures and monitoring
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent related experience
