This AWS Data Platform Engineer role requires strong AWS architecture and engineering experience. You will work with Amazon S3, Lake Formation, Glue, EMR, Athena, and Spark. The position connects data architecture, pipelines, governance, security, and operationalization across enterprise-scale platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Architect and build enterprise-scale AWS data platforms
  • Develop data solutions using Python, PySpark, and SQL
  • Design lakehouse and medallion architecture patterns
  • Move solutions from architecture through production operationalization
  • Troubleshoot code, data, integration, and performance issues

Requirements:

  • Strong AWS architecture and engineering experience
  • Expert Python object-oriented programming and pandas knowledge
  • Very good PySpark and SQL knowledge
  • Experience with EMR, Glue, Athena, and Lake Formation
  • Strong Terraform or Terragrunt infrastructure-as-code experience
