Aws Devops Engineer

In this AWS DevOps role, you will design and build secure cloud infrastructure for government-focused projects, driving automation and scalable platform services. You join a fast-paced Agile delivery team, taking hands-on ownership of new infrastructure and delivery leadership across projects. You will guide customers on AWS architecture, mentor engineers, and uphold secure deployment practices. • Design, build and manage secure AWS cloud infrastructure
• Create automated CI/CD pipelines
• Develop reusable Infrastructure as Code using Terraform
• Build and operate platforms for containerised applications
• Support software deployment, monitoring and operational performance
• Lead technical delivery throughout the full project lifecycle
• Advise customers on AWS architecture and technology choices
• Manage senior stakeholder relationships and key project deliverables
• Mentor engineers and support junior team members
• Promote Agile best practices, including Scrum and Kanban

• Strong commercial AWS experience
• Proven experience building new cloud infrastructure
• Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code
• Strong knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, automation and containerisation
• Experience with Terraform, Docker and Kubernetes
• Good understanding of AWS security principles and secure deployment practices
• Experience delivering within Agile teams
• Ability to lead technical solutions and take ownership of delivery
• Strong customer-facing and stakeholder-management skills
• Experience mentoring or supporting other engineers
