AWS Golang Cloud Software Engineer

Build secure AWS cloud solutions with Golang and AI-assisted development as a Cloud Software Engineer in Canada’s hybrid work environment. Design systems for McAfee consumer products.

As a Cloud Software Engineer, you will contribute to full-stack solutions across several consumer products. The work emphasizes technical leadership, security-first practices, and AI-First development using Claude Code. You will design microservices, APIs, PostgreSQL systems, and resilient AWS infrastructure while supporting frontend integration.

Key Responsibilities:

• Write, debug, and iterate backend systems with AI development agents
• Design high-performance microservices and APIs for desktop and mobile clients
• Develop secure, resilient, cost-efficient AWS infrastructure
• Manage and optimize PostgreSQL databases for performance
• Automate deployment and troubleshooting with Python and Bash

Requirements:

• Seven or more years of professional full-stack development experience
• Deep professional expertise with Golang and its toolchain
• Advanced production experience with AWS cloud design principles
• Experience building scalable microservices and RESTful or gRPC APIs
• Proficiency with PostgreSQL, Python, Bash, Linux, and CI/CD
