Overview

As an AWS Solution Architect, you guide cloud-driven transformation for tier-1 clients by designing scalable, secure AWS workloads and modern architectures. You collaborate with cross-functional teams to realise cloud strategy, migrate legacy systems, and build cloud-native solutions. You will educate customers on cloud value and drive ongoing learning and certification. This role combines hands-on implementation with architecture oversight in a dynamic, innovation-focused environment.

Responsibilities
  • Design and implement AWS workloads using serverless, containerised, and microservices patterns
  • Develop scalable, performant, resilient, and cost-efficient application solutions
  • Configure and maintain CI/CD pipelines and automation frameworks
  • Apply cloud security principles including IAM, encryption, and compliance controls
  • Optimise architectures for scalability, reliability, and operational excellence
  • Produce high-quality design documentation and participate in architecture reviews
  • Execute testing strategies for functional and non-functional requirements
  • Collaborate with clients and internal teams to deliver robust, cloud-first solutions
Key requirements
  • Significant hands-on experience designing and implementing AWS-based solutions
  • AWS Professional and/or Associate certification (e.g., Solutions Architect, DevOps Engineer)
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
  • Ability to translate business requirements into scalable, secure cloud architectures
  • Experience in cost optimisation and cloud best practices
  • Strong understanding of data platforms and analytics; experience with AI/ML solutions and data lifecycle management
  • Proficiency in CI/CD and DevOps practices; familiarity with modern cloud patterns
  • Deep knowledge of IAM, encryption, and compliance frameworks; ability to implement security across cloud environments
  • Understanding of integration patterns, event-driven architectures, APIs, and hybrid connectivity
  • Experience designing highly available, fault-tolerant, scalable solutions; knowledge of disaster recovery
  • Awareness of cloud governance, account management, and cost allocation
