Overview
As Cloud Azure Architect, you will lead the design of a secure, scalable Azure-hosted platform to support the Member Website and future modernization initiatives. You’ll shape hybrid hosting and AKS-based solutions, ensuring robust identity integration and API connectivity with legacy systems and third parties. You’ll work closely with Pixel and other suppliers, guiding architecture decisions and delivery standards. This role offers impact across multi-supplier projects and a chance to set architectural direction for a new generation of hosting platforms.
Responsibilities- Design Azure-based hosting platforms and AKS solutions
- Define hybrid-hosting architectures with high availability and resilience
- Plan integration with identity platforms (Entra ID/Azure AD) and RBAC/MFA
- Oversee data management and RESTful API connectivity with legacy systems and CRMs
- Define security and operational requirements for platforms
- Lead architecture workshops and collaborate with software development teams
- Coordinate with Pixel and other suppliers; support technology decision-making
- Create high-level and low-level designs; produce deployment documentation
- Maintain platform standards and reference architectures
