Overview

In this role you will design, deploy, and operate Azure and on‑prem infrastructure to enable secure and scalable production capabilities across multiple tenants. You’ll work with Microsoft, architects, and stakeholders to ensure compliant, resilient solutions that align with security standards. You’ll contribute to migrating capabilities to production and strengthen infrastructure through IaC and automation. This position offers hybrid working and a chance to impact government and commercial environments at scale.

Responsibilities
  • Design, deploy, configure, and support Azure and on‑premise infrastructure
  • Onboard and deploy multiple capabilities into production
  • Operate across multiple Azure tenants and hybrid environments
  • Manage Azure compute, networking, storage, monitoring, security, and identity
  • Integrate Azure with on‑premise networks and security controls
  • Implement and maintain IaC, automation, and deployment pipelines
  • Support environment build, configuration, migration, and operational transition
  • Monitor performance, availability, and security, and implement improvements
  • Produce technical documentation, deployment guides, and support artefacts
  • Ensure compliance with security, governance, and architectural standards
  • Support incident, problem, change, and release management activities
Key requirements
  • Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure cloud services
  • Experience designing, deploying, and supporting hybrid cloud and on‑prem infrastructure
  • Experience across multiple Azure tenants and enterprise environments
  • Experience with Windows Server and/or Linux administration
  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Bicep, ARM Templates)
  • Experience using Azure DevOps and CI/CD pipelines
  • Security clearance (SC) or ability to obtain
  • Experience in secure environments and multi‑classification operations
