As an Azure Data Engineer, you will design and develop cloud-based pipelines from business requirements and technical designs. The work includes Azure SQL Database, Data Factory, ADLS, Databricks, DevOps, complex queries, and workflow tools. You will support data engineering across business lines through analysis, integration, documentation, and environment maintenance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design optimized data pipelines using cloud technologies
  • Develop complex SQL and NoSQL jobs
  • Integrate data from backend and legacy environments
  • Analyze data stores and generate reports
  • Maintain workflows, documentation, and cloud environments

Requirements:

  • Data engineering experience with big data or relational databases
  • Strong understanding of SQL and complex query development
  • Experience with Azure SQL, Data Factory, ADLS, and Databricks
  • Experience with structured and semi-structured datasets
  • Programming experience with SQL, Python, Shell, or Scala
