Lead Azure data ingestion with Data Factory, Data Lake, and Synapse in Montreal. Build pipelines while coordinating developers and technical governance.

This Technical Lead guides the ingestion POD for the CDAC project. The mandate integrates legacy systems and group insurance into Azure, exposing data through Power BI. You remain a hands-on senior data developer while supporting delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build complex data ingestion components for Azure environments
  • Configure ingestion pipelines across Data Factory, Data Lake, and Synapse
  • Participate in data loading and production releases
  • Support and coordinate developers within the ingestion POD
  • Validate infrastructure, security access, branches, and promotions

Requirements:

  • Seven to ten years of work experience
  • Excellent ETL knowledge and relational dimensional modeling
  • Experience with TDD, automated testing, and continuous integration
  • GitHub, GitHub Actions, and Concourse source control knowledge
  • Power BI Desktop, Service, and gateway knowledge
