Azure data engineering expertise anchors this Data Solutions Architect role with OpsGuru, a Carbon60 Company, in a remote-first environment.

This architect provides hands-on technical leadership for customer data platforms and virtual delivery teams. The work spans Azure Data Factory, Synapse Analytics, Databricks, ADLS Gen2, Azure SQL, and Microsoft Fabric. You will partner with Principal Consultants, stakeholders, and engineers to shape requirements and deliver scalable solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead data platform design and implementation
  • Select tools and resolve complex engineering issues
  • Build and optimize Azure data pipelines
  • Manage engagement scope and stakeholder expectations
  • Champion Azure DevOps and infrastructure-as-code practices

Requirements:

  • Seven or more years of hands-on architecture delivery
  • Strong proficiency across the Azure data stack
  • Experience with complex ETL and ELT pipelines
  • Relational and NoSQL database experience
  • Customer-facing consulting delivery experience
