SC Cleared Azure DevOps Engineer

Location: London/Hybrid

Contract: 6 months +

Rate: 650 to 675 per day - Inside IR35

Clearance: Active, transferable UK SC

We are seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer to join a specialist team delivering secure and innovative technology solutions within a confidential government environment.

Essential Skills & Experience

• 7+ years' DevOps experience
• Experience leading DevOps teams and mentoring junior engineers
• Strong experience with AWS, Azure and/or GCP
• Design and management of CI/CD pipelines
• Experience with Jenkins, Git, Bamboo or cloud-native CI/CD tooling
• Strong Docker and Kubernetes experience
• Scripting with Python, Bash and/or PowerShell
• Experience producing technical designs and documentation
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
• Passion for automation, innovation and emerging technologies

Desirable Skills

• Understanding of SRE principles
• Experience with PKI and TLS
• Experience working within secure or government environments

Security Requirements - Essential

• Active and transferable UK SC clearance
• Clearance generally less than 10 years old , with at least 12 months remaining (18 months preferred)
• Must have worked on a Government/Police contract requiring NSV clearance within the last 12 months
• Must not have resided overseas for more than 6 months during any break in government service
• Sole British National only - no dual nationality
• UK/British passport only; no OCI, NICOP or equivalent additional national identity documentation
