Overview

In this Azure Engineer role you help deliver enterprise-scale infrastructure for Methods BDT customers. You will support the technical lead to design and, where needed, deliver key components of the solution on customer sites. You’ll contribute to workshops and technical presentations, bridging business needs and technology options. You will work within a collaborative, cross-functional team focused on safe, people-centered, future-ready IT in the public sector. Responsibilities
  • Assist the Technical Lead in conceptualising and designing complex, multi-site solutions including hosted Data Centre infrastructures
  • Provide technical delivery support and occasionally lead project delivery activities to ensure on-time, on-budget outcomes
  • Run or participate in technical workshops across multiple technologies
  • Support presales activity with Business Development, Solution Architecture and Sales teams
  • Develop detailed designs and maintain architecture-level awareness of complementary technologies
  • Create and deliver technology presentations for large audiences and project workshops
  • Develop opportunities within customer accounts in collaboration with colleagues
  • Maintain broad knowledge of Microsoft technologies and pursue relevant exams/accreditations
Key requirements
  • 2+ years in a customer-facing role delivering and supporting Microsoft-based solutions
  • Extensive knowledge and hands-on experience with Microsoft technologies
  • Experience in delivering and shaping technical solutions
  • Commercial awareness for proposals and tender responses
  • Experience chairing technical workshops
  • SC clearance or willingness to obtain
  • Microsoft Associate Level Exams
  • Excellent presentation and written/verbal communication
  • Attention to detail
