Azure Finance Data Developer

Azure data development leads CIBC’s Finance Modernization initiative, using Databricks and Python to transform financial reporting and analytics. Work arrangements combine on-site and remote work as discussed during interviews.

As a Consultant, Data Developer, you will support CIBC Finance Technology within Enterprise Technology. You will solution, develop, test, and support cross-functional, multi-platform, multi-vendor SaaS and PaaS systems. Your work will involve Microsoft Azure, Azure Data Factory, DevOps, and financial processing landscapes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead technical design and development of application systems
• Develop, test, encode, debug, and modify computer programs
• Build and orchestrate metadata-driven data pipelines
• Support implementation across finance platforms and vendors
• Coordinate requirements with stakeholders, vendors, and regulators

Requirements:

• Experience developing budgeting, forecasting, and reporting solutions
• Experience with Azure, Databricks, Python, Spark, and SQLMI
• Experience implementing Azure Fabric solutions
• Hands-on experience with Bronze, Silver, and Gold data lake patterns
• DevOps-based continuous integration and continuous deployment experience
