Overview

In this role you will collaborate with engineers and architects to design, build, and enhance Azure platform foundations, including landing zones, connectivity, identity, and governance. You will implement infrastructure changes through IaC, contribute to code reviews, and support automated deployments. You will help with operations, troubleshooting, patching, and migrations while producing clear runbooks and documentation. Responsibilities
  • Design and improve Azure platform foundations (landing zones, connectivity, identity, governance)
  • Deliver infrastructure changes with IaC (Terraform and/or Bicep) and participate in reviews and testing
  • Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps and Git
  • Support platform operations: troubleshoot connectivity, identity/access, compute and storage issues; assist with patching and incident resolution
  • Implement Azure networking features: VNets, routing, DNS, Private Endpoints, NSGs, firewalls, VPN/ExpressRoute
  • Contribute to Azure IaaS and PaaS engineering (VMs, storage, Key Vault, monitoring, App Services, Functions)
  • Assist with Azure migrations and modernization (assessment, landing zone prep, cutover) with tools like Azure Migrate
  • Produce documentation and runbooks; communicate progress and risks to team and clients
Key requirements
  • Foundational infrastructure concepts and their Azure applications
  • Hands-on Azure IaaS/PaaS experience
  • Working knowledge of DevOps practices: Git, branching, PRs, automated deployments, CI/CD concepts
  • Exposure to Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform and/or Bicep) with engineering discipline beyond templates
  • Scripting skills (PowerShell, Bash, or Python) for automation
  • Customer-focused mindset and quick learning in complex environments
  • Clear communication to explain technical issues to diverse audiences
  • Security Clearance: SC or eligible and willing to undergo vetting
