Overview
In this role you will drive the architecture of Azure-enabled data solutions for a leading energy trading business. You will design cloud, data, integration and security layers, ensuring alignment with standards and reference architectures. You’ll act as the main architectural contact on projects, guiding business-process, data, application, and security considerations toward a future-proof solution. You’ll collaborate with senior architects and stakeholders to evolve reference models and support architecture governance. This is a credible chance to shape a major data platform uplift in a hybrid London setting.

- Shape end-to-end solution architecture across cloud, data, integration and security domains
- Serve as single point of contact for architecture on IT projects and coordinate with stakeholders
- Ensure architecture adheres to standards and reference models; document using templates, C4/ArchiMate
- Support Lead Architects and participate in Architecture Review Board activities
- Develop and maintain Reference Models and uplift deliverables to Conceptual/Logical levels
- Stay informed on market tech developments and apply to solutions; ensure future-proofing
- Engage with IT standards across the organization and advocate for Architecture
- 15+ years in IT
- Hands-on experience with Azure, ReactJS, NodeJS, microservices, microfrontend, Kubernetes and GraphQL
- Experience in data architecture and data platforms
- Energy trading/oil & gas/financial markets/commodities focus
