Back-End Developer (Python | Application Development)

In this role you will design, build, and maintain scalable Python back-end services on cloud-native AWS infrastructure to support investment operations and analytics. You will shape architecture and CI/CD processes while delivering robust APIs that power critical investment workflows. • Design, build, and maintain scalable Python back-end services and APIs
• Develop and deploy cloud-native applications on AWS (Lambda, ECS, S3, RDS)
• Integrate with third-party financial data providers and internal portfolio systems
• Collaborate with front-end developers, DevOps, and business stakeholders
• Write clean, testable code and contribute to CI/CD pipelines and automated deployments
• Participate in architectural planning, peer reviews, and agile development cycles
• Monitor and improve performance, availability, and security of production systems

• 5+ years of back-end Python development
• Experience in a financial services environment
• Strong AWS and cloud-native development knowledge
• RESTful API design with FastAPI, Flask, or Django
• Relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and ORMs (SQLAlchemy)
• Docker, container orchestration, and IaC (Terraform or CloudFormation)
• Solid software engineering practices (version control, testing, deployment workflows)
