Backend Engineer - Account Sharing

As a Backend Engineer on the Account Sharing team, you will help design and build global, consumer-facing shared-finance products such as international joint accounts and kid accounts. You’ll shape product direction in a greenfield environment, collaborating with product, design, data, and research to turn ideas into scalable financial services used by millions. Your work will span architecture, reliability, and cross-border experiences, with a strong focus on customer impact. This role offers influence over technical strategy and product direction in a fast-moving, autonomous team.

• Build international joint accounts and shared finance experiences for globally distributed users
• Expand kid accounts into new markets with scalable backend systems
• Design and evolve scalable backend architectures for high-growth consumer products
• Develop features for shared spending, money transfers, and account customization
• Collaborate with product, design, data, and research to validate problems and iterate solutions
• Scale infrastructure and improve reliability across multiple markets
• Work on greenfield financial products from concept to production
• Contribute to architectural discussions and influence product direction across teams

• Build scalable distributed systems
