Backend Engineer, Payments & Rails Platform

Commerce is seeking a Software Engineer to design, implement, and maintain a Ruby on Rails payments service on the BigCommerce platform. You will ensure production-grade functionality with tests, instrumentation, and documentation, and you will troubleshoot production issues to improve reliability.

You will mentor engineers, review code, and collaborate with product and design to define features while upholding security, performance, and reliability objectives across scalable back-end services.
