My client, a startup in London, is looking for a Lead Software Engineer (Backend Platform Services).

At A Minimum, We Would Expect

  • Enthusiasm for developing technologies to solve real problems
  • Confidence to challenge our engineering customs and practices
  • Overwhelming desire to ‘do the right thing’ for customers

Preferred Skills and Experience

  • Technical Depth
  • C#, Java or Python
  • Understanding of SOA and Microservices, HTTP and REST
  • Awareness of cloud infrastructure

Patterns and Practice

  • OO programming and design
  • Coding Standards
  • Familiar with Agile framework

Team and Leadership

  • Good communicator, willing to share and teach
  • Team player
  • Strong leadership

Beneficial Experience

  • Worked on IoT products
  • Delivered product or services in cloud, e.g. Google Cloud, AWS, Azure
