Responsibilities
- Further develop and support the company’s international operating systems
- Ensure reliability, consistency, process quality and control across processes
- Contribute to multiple projects simultaneously with a flexible, pragmatic approach
- Collaborate in a relaxed, open, fast-paced tech environment
- Travel to international client offices may be required
Key requirements
- Degree in science/computing/numerate/engineering field
- Strong OO programming experience in C#, C++, or Java
- Strong database development experience, ideally with SQL Server, T-SQL procedures, functions, indexes, and query optimization
- Experience on Windows and Unix/Linux, command line, scripting, and basic system administration
- Ability to work well in a team and take ownership of sub-projects
- Interest in technology innovation and willingness to learn
- Ideally experience processing large data sets
- Ideally experience with market data providers and/or FIX protocol
- Practical problem-solving ability and clear communication of ideas/results
