Overview
In this Backend Software Engineer role you will help build a high-scale, low-latency Market Data platform. You’ll collaborate with DevOps and Product Management in an Agile setting and contribute to the full development lifecycle. You will apply .NET expertise while evaluating new technologies to keep the stack efficient, scalable, and fit-for-purpose. The role combines API development, data processing insights, and cross-team influence to shape a critical, data-driven service. This is a hands-on position in a fast-growing financial tech environment with a clear impact on performance and scale.

- Provide subject matter expertise on the .Net stack and API development
- Contribute to technical discussions and architectural decisions
- Work with large-scale data processing components (Apache Flink with Java) and assess new tech
- Promote best practices in CI/CD and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform)
- Mentor junior developers and support cross-team collaboration
- Strong C# .Net skills and knowledge of design patterns (SOLID, DRY, KISS)
- Experience with high-throughput, low-latency, scalable systems
- Experience building APIs
- SQL experience
- CI/CD and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform) understanding
