Overview

In this Backend Engineer role, you will design and scale backend architectures for large-scale, real-time data systems that connect devices with cloud and data infrastructure. You’ll build robust APIs, optimize databases, and boost performance to support mission-critical operations. You work closely with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment to deliver cutting-edge ML-enabled platforms. This is an opportunity to influence architecture and performance at scale while contributing to innovative, real-time software solutions.

Responsibilities
  • Design and scale backend architectures for large-scale, real-time data systems
  • Develop robust APIs and optimise database queries
  • Improve system performance and reliability of production services
  • Work on data pipelines and streaming/data integration across environments (IoT/edge)
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ship features in a fast-paced setting
  • Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and automated testing/deployment processes
