You will influence architecture and engineering practices in a small, agile team with a strong greenfield focus. You’ll explore embedding AI into products and processes, using tools like Claude to enhance software development. This role offers cross-functional collaboration, a chance to shape the tech stack and delivery at scale, and the opportunity to work with modern cloud and container technologies. The position blends backend development with AI-driven improvements to impact engineering productivity and product outcomes.

- Promote robust, scalable system design and CI/CD automation
- Backend software engineering experience with Python or C# (or both)
- Strong CS fundamentals (OOP, multithreading, design patterns) and system design skills
- Knowledge of cloud-native architectures (Azure/AWS), event-driven systems, microservices
- Experience with CI/CD, Terraform, Kubernetes, Docker
- Familiarity with frontend connectivity and ideally React or Angular
- Interest in applying AI to development and products (Claude or similar tools)
- Collaborative mindset and communication skills; startup/small team experience preferred
